Package Redesign

The task was to update the packaging for this collection which is sold at a wholesale level meaning that it should be generally appealing but also generic at the same time. There are 19 everyday scents and 5 Holiday scents and 11 different products for each scent. The challenge was to create a large cohesive system that could be expanded upon in the future while adding in variations to separate each product clearly enough from others.

 
 

SOLUTION


The new direction for the labels was apothecary inspired. Each scent was given a unique color to be paired with 1 of 11 botanical patterns allowing for many combinations, the color was also used as the drop shadow color in the name lockup. A random number was assigned to all the scents to give a hand-made quality that vintage soap labels have along with a grainy paper texture.
